OLX Group unveiled two new AI-powered tools on October 28, 2026: Agentic Selling, now live for 20% of private sellers on its Otodom property platform in Poland, and DealFinder, a buyer-side assistant on WhatsApp. Both were presented at CLAIM Online 2026, the company’s future-of-marketplaces summit held October 27, 2026.

OLX Group describes itself as a global online classifieds leader with nearly 60 million daily listings across 11 brands in seven markets, and it is the classifieds business of Prosus. The company said it has been building AI into its marketplaces for more than eight years, and that its platforms draw on more than 20 years of relationships with dealers and realtors and on verified marketplace data that generic AI models cannot access.

Agentic Selling helps people list, manage and sell their properties, guiding sellers through a process that runs from valuation to posting.DealFinder is being scaled after a beta test period in Portugal that drew 2,000 users.

The assistant finds items for buyers, can set price and item alerts, and takes searches in text, image or voice form.OLX reported that DealFinder achieved an 18% conversion rate to contact during beta testing.

Chief Data Officer Andreas Merentitis said the two tools follow a single principle: “AI should handle the complexity, while people make the decisions that matter.” He said OLX built both tools with the customer’s question at the center and measures them against whether people trust the outcome, adding that while speed matters in agentic AI, trust is what makes it useful.

Alongside the launch, OLX published two surveys about AI in what it called two of life’s biggest decisions: finding work and finding a home. The OLX Jobs AI survey was conducted by SW Research for OLX Group in October 2026 as an online survey of 1,510 people aged 18 to 29 living in cities of 200,000 inhabitants or more, with around 300 respondents in each of France, Germany, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.

In the jobs survey, 92–96% of respondents reported using AI tools in their personal lives, while fewer than 41% feel ready for changes in the labor market.Men rated their AI skills more highly than women did, though both groups expressed the same level of concern about AI’s impact on careers, at 31%.

Poland was the most cautious of the surveyed markets, with 37% of young people there reporting high or very high concern about AI and automation.

The OLX Real Estate survey was conducted by OLX Group in October 2026 among home seekers using its real estate platforms in Poland, Portugal and Romania. It includes 2,819 respondents across the three markets, counting both completed and incomplete responses. OLX stated that the results describe platform users and are not representative of all home seekers in these markets.

In the real estate survey, the most requested AI features were alerts for matching listings and side-by-side comparison tools. Only 5% of respondents would trust an AI valuation more than a human agent’s estimate, while 36% trust the realtor’s estimate, and 78% want AI-altered listings disclosed.

OLX said that, reflecting this preference for human expertise, it designs tools like Agentic Selling to provide transparent, data-backed pricing guidance and listing drafts while keeping final pricing and disclosure decisions entirely in the seller’s hands.

CEO Christian Gisy commented that people are already using AI for big decisions on the company’s platforms, and that adoption shows who has tried AI but not whether they trust the outcome. He said the surveys show people want to see why a tool makes a recommendation and to keep the final call, a standard he said OLX holds itself to on every platform.

OLX reported 86 live Machine Learning use cases, 28 live GenAI use cases and 14 agentic solutions in-market across its 16 marketplaces.

Among the results the company reported from live products: AI-generated titles and descriptions lift posting completion by 11 percentage points for sellers, and AI-powered ad posting cuts time-to-post by 50% in real estate.

In Motors, more than 70% of dealers accept AI-made videos of their cars.Agentic search is live across Motors and Real Estate, and AutoIQ, OLX’s dealer agent, is live with all dealers on its platforms in Poland and Portugal.

In Jobs, the company’s CV Optimiser reads role requirements to help candidates refine, structure and tailor their CVs, while its AI Interviewer runs more than 1,000 practice interviews a month and gives candidates feedback before they meet a hiring manager. OLX reported that 88% of users found CV Optimiser useful and that 90% said they love the AI Interviewer.
